Why We Like The Infinito CV Disc Rival AXS Road Bike
The Infinito CV Disc Rival AXS Road Bike is aptly named with the Italian word for "infinite." As in infinite possibilities for cycling, exploration, and for training. It's an endurance road bike built for long rides that sweep us through small mountainside towns, down through valleys, and across flowing fields and farmlands. It's lightweight without sacrificing strength and handling, and it's highly aerodynamic to boot. Of course, it wouldn't be Bianchi without the use of Countervail technology, and we're seeing that in both the frame and fork. And, combined with other features seen in the frame's geometry, we can expect a more satisfactory ride, no matter how many miles we're putting away.
Let's start with the frame and fork, both of which are made with Bianchi carbon with Countervail technology that cancels out harsh vibrations, making for a more comfortable ride. It's a carbon composite-material system that combines patented structural carbon with viscoelastic resin, canceling out 80% of vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of Bianchi's carbon frames and forks. It's highly effective, and it's even proven by NASA. Typically, road vibrations cause wear and fatigue, which are virtually obsolete with Countervail. This technology paves the way for us to ride for infinite miles on end.
But, the Infinito is not all about its carbon layup with CV. Its endurance geometry does the job of situating us in a more comfortable riding position so we can tackle big days with ease. Longer chainstays and a taller aero headtube both smooth out our ride and offer a low-stress position for our neck, which reduces fatigue when we're in aero positioning or up on our hoods. Aerodynamic features like internal cable routing and an integrated-look carbon seatpost slash through wind resistance too, so we can fight through headwinds with confidence. Flat mount disc brakes provide capable stopping power should we have to brake quickly on descents, for cows near farmlands or marmots in the mountains, and the Infinito's Rival AXS groupset delivers smooth and effortless wireless electronic shifting for our ride.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
