Excellent Base Layer
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- L
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 165
This is my new "go to" for a base layer in temperatures up to 55 degrees. It has excellent wicking properties so that I never feel wet and/or cold on those Florida winter rides while working up a sweat. The design does what it intended so that it can be tucked into your bibs without being excessively hot since the fabric that is tucked in is much thinner. One big plus is that the top is flexible so that when you're standing it doesn't pull at the chest as opposed to a standard cycling jersey. Because of this, I can wear it on my runs where it performs just as well. As a matter of fact I just ordered another one so I can alternate between the 2 without having to do laundry daily.

Excellent light weight base layer
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XXL
- Height:
- 6' 1"
- Weight:
- 190
I've used it with a Castelli thermal outer top in weather in the 40s-50s and I've stayed very comfortable. The back tucks into bibs so it stays in place. Fits well. As usual with Castelli, I size up to XXL.
