Why We Like The P-Series Ultegra Road Bike
The P-Series Ultegra Road Bike takes on time trials and triathlons with speed and aerodynamic performance to make for a bike that excels in the disciplines. And, with its Shimano Ultegra drivetrain, it's a step-up from the entry-level Shimano 105 P-Series edition. Cervelo utilizes knowledge gained from the P5, but with the high-value P-Series to create a balance between wind tunnel superiority and performance. This achieves Cervelo's goal to maintain no wasted effort, and that's something we can get behind.
When we're looking at the P-Series, it's easy to see that it's built for straight-line speed. Carbon tube shapes make for a slender front end, and the seat mast is so aerodynamically shaped that it cuts through the wind like butter. An integrated bottle cage is tucked tightly behind the downtube to increase these aero gains along with the rear-wheel cutout. Surprisingly, the P-Series takes on turns with adept agility. Flats, turns, and climbs all come easily with this bike, and that's partly because Cervelo boosts the torsional stiffness and adds more strength to the bottom bracket. This lets us feel more in line with the bike when we're pedaling our hearts out. With the P-Series, we're provided advantages that put us ahead of the competition no matter what the course throws our way.
*Due to unprecedented demand in the global supply chain and the bike industry over the last 18 months, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be minor. If you have any questions, reach out to a Gearhead by chatting online or calling 1-888-276-7130.
