Why We Like The Giordana FR-C Pro Short-Sleeve Jersey
Giordana is always at the forefront of developing premium level lightweight and breathable fabrics while constructing its cycling clothing and the FR-C Pro Short-Sleeve Jersey is no exception. An excellent fit provided by its BodyClone technology creates a second skin fit that is both form-fitting and aerodynamic. This jersey will help you maintain your peak performance in the hottest conditions.
The FR-C jersey's fabric is extremely lightweight and breathable and used on kits Giordana provides for its sponsored pro teams. This version sees Asteria 3.0 panels throughout the jersey. The lightweight microfiber blend is super soft to the touch and breathes exceptionally well and manages moisture while blocking UV rays. The jersey's race cut is very comfortable while in the riding position and creates an aerodynamic fit.
The rear of the jersey sees a unique I- Panel that contours over the shoulders and down the spine, supporting 3 rear pockets and a zippered side pocket, preventing sagging and further enhancing the form-fit. Laser cut Thermo-fused arm cuffs continue the aero fit and keep the sleeves in place without constriction.
The collar is flat and low profile sitting close to the neck virtually eliminating irritation. A CamLock zipper effortlessly glides up and down with one hand to dump heat as needed on the hottest days. Guards are placed at the top and bottom of the zipper preserving the jersey.

Nice Jersey with limitations
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- XL
- Height:

- Weight:

First off, I love the color (mint green)and the jersey seems to be well made, typical of Giordana FR-C quality. It has a zippered security pocket which is a requirement for me. Fit is typical Giordana which means size up if you're even close to borderline on sizing. I needed an XL for my 40" chest as the L was just too tight. The fabric is a little different from previous Giordana jerseys I've owned and while not uncomfortable, I didn't feel like it permitted enough air flow on the hot summer day that I wore it. It would be fine for more moderate days. Overall, a quality jersey but one I'll only wear in more moderate temperatures.

Great for hot weather
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- Medium

Chest size 38R and 29" waist, no gut. Size S was very tight so I exchanged for size M which fits comfortably skin tight with plenty of flexibility for movement. After wearing through the Texas summer on daily rides I am totally pleased with how the jersey feels and breathes. This is my go-to summer jersey. Worth every penny.

Deceptively cheap textile and pattern

First, switching from Castelli Aero Race 6.0 and Rosso (my size is sold iut)... or attempting to complement my Castelli line, ordered a few FRC Pro on discount as they usually cost 100$ more than castelli. . First zip, look good, right size, a bit compressive but man oh man, it feels like sandpaper! or better yet, made in cheapistan poor materials. The pattern density is so low that it feels abrasive. In contrast, Castellis Roos, Race Aero, feel- well you cannot feel them! at 40 C 40 km /hr those are painted... Silk like compression, no creases, smaller when unzipped vs the FR Pro, wraps seamlessly. PR delivered on the bike... The FRC Pro feel cheap, low end and its pattern is abrasive. Perhaps some may say, it airs better? Well, been riding in heat waves up to 45C, and I never had an issue with the Castellis.. The FRc Pro, unfortunately, did not pass the common sense first zip test...Now, contrast this with the FR-C Pro bib shorts, they are from a different galaxy. A baffling mystery why the FRC Pro jerseys are and feel so low end, on par with cheapies at 90$ from 2010, down to the same sandpaper material low density grid feel..

Some details are different
Some details are different than in the pictures like mine came without the red around the arms and behind the neck. They should update the product images. Other than that is a great shirt good quality.

Great; a Real Quality Jersey

I really like just about everything the Giordana FR-C Pro jersey offers. It uses at least four different types of fabric (not counting the waist gripper and arm grippers/trim), all of which are optimized for comfort and performance. It has a deceptively simple design, with many solid, high-visibility colors available, but looks stylish in person, not plain. The fit for me is just about spot-on: trim but not tight; cut shorter in the front to prevent the zipper from bunching up when riding; longer (but not too long) in the back; the sleeves are the current longer trend. The sleeve and waist grippers actually work well, offering a compressive/secure fit without pressure points. In addition to the standard three pockets, there is a fourth zippered pocket for keys and small valuables. The overall quality appears to be very good (still made in Italy!) with no loose threads and great finishing to all seams. Sizing seems pretty consistent with Assos and other European brands -- a little more snug than the Assos Mille in the same size. All in all, the Giordana FR-C Pro is a strong contender for my favorite all-around jersey, among Castelli, Assos, Q36.5, Santini, and Mavic jerseys. If it continues to hold up well, it might just be my favorite all-around jersey.

Great Jersey

My first high end jersey. Have a pair of FRC bibs that are also fantastic so wanted a matching shirt. Nothing bad to say at all. Quality, zipper, pockets, fabric, etc. are all top notch. Sizing is a little weird. I am 6'3" and 210lbs (but strong, not overweight--big upper body rather than a spare tire). I have a XXL, and it is SUPER tight on the arms, shoulders, and chest. Not uncomfortable at all though. It is snug around the bottom half, but not in any weird way. I would not want any bigger for my my waist or any smaller for my upper body. Thus, XXL is the right size. I will definitely order another one in a few months.
