Furtado CC X0 Eagle Transmission Mountain Bike

Whether we are slicing through technical switchbacks or hitting all the jumps on that new line, the women at Backcountry were looking for a more aggressive trail bike that wouldn't hold them back. The Juliana Furtado CC X0 Eagle Transmission Mountain Bike fit that bill perfectly, and we fell in love with its aggressive geometry, mixed wheel setup, and lightweight, premium build. The Furtado features a Carbon CC frame made from the highest quality carbon fiber available to give us maximum stiffness at an ultralight weight. The 29in front, 27.5in rear mixed wheel setup makes this bike come alive, and it shines in technical sections, switchbacks, and anytime our wheels leave the ground. 130mm of VPP suspension allows the Furtado to excel all over the trail, from climbing efficiently to descending technical lines easily; we were surprised at how versatile the VPP suspension platform could be. The Furtado features a slack 65.2-degree head tube angle and a steep 77.4-degree seat tube angle, putting us in the perfect position when descending and climbing. Ensuring you can always have your bike tools, a spare tube, and maybe even some snacks with you at all times, the Furtado features a Glovebox frame storage in the downtube of the frame and comes with a Tube Wallet and Tube Purse for organizing your essentials. A Sag Window is a new edition to Santa Cruz and Juliana frames and allows us to read and set our sag easier by having a clear view of our shock's sag indicator. The Furtado features an integrated downtube and chainstay protector to help protect your bike from rock strikes and chain slaps. A shuttle guard near the top of the downtube gives us peace of mind as we throw our bikes over the tailgate of our personal lift service.

The CC XO Eagle transmission build of the Juliana Furtado is top spec and starts with Juliana's premium Carbon CC frame. SRAM's new XO Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain gives us the latest technology in electronic drivetrain systems, featuring precise shifting, an automatic realignment system, and super durable construction. RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate and Pike Ultimate are reliable suspension components and have many adjustments for our personal riding style. Premium Maxxis DHRII tires, Race Face ARC Offset rims, and Industry Nine 1/1 hubs make for a premium wheelset that will tear up the trail. SRAM's new code Silver Stealth brakes add some serious stopping power and ensure great modulation and a better lever feel.
