Furtado CC X0 Eagle Transmission Reserve Mountain Bike

When we have a fun day of trail rides planned, the Juliana Furtado is our go-to trail bike. We love the Juliana Furtado CC X0 Eagle Transmission Reserve Mountain Bike for its expert build spec, efficient suspension platform, and mixed-wheel design. The Furtado features 130mm of lower-link VPP suspension, capable of making short work out of berms, small jumps, and technical descents. With a 65.2-degree headtube angle, the Furtado helps give us confidence on the downhills by keeping our front wheel out ahead of us without being so slack that we lose our agility on flat ground.

A super steep 77.4-degree seat tube angle puts us in an efficient pedaling position by centering our body upright and over the pedals, providing us with the optimal positioning to conquer technical climbs. With a 29-inch wheel up front and a 27.5-inch wheel in the rear, the Furtado has the best of both worlds by easily rolling over rocks and roots while still maintaining nimble handling. Thanks to the recent addition of the Glovebox frame storage, we can leave the hip back or backpack at home and store our ride essentials in the frame's downtube, allowing easy access to our spare tubes and snacks. Another new addition this year is a Sag Window that provides us a peephole to our rear shock's sag indicator to help make sag reading and setup easier. When planning to ride more technical and steep terrain, we adjust the flip chip in the shock pivot, giving us a lower center of gravity, a steeper headtube angle, and a longer wheelbase.

The X0 Eagle AXS Transmission Reserve build of the Juliana Furtado is equipped with top-tier components and some of the latest technology on the market. This bike has Juliana's premium Carbon CC frame, giving us the best carbon fiber available that makes for a stiffer and lighter frame. SRAM's new X0 Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain provides us with the latest technology in electronic drivetrains. The X0 AXS Transmission drivetrain can shift flawlessly under load, readjust itself when it becomes out of line, and is made nearly bombproof for a reliable and durable electronic drivetrain. Reserve's 30 SL/HD carbon rims help save some weight while increasing the stiffness of our ride, and Industry Nine's 1/1 hubs are lightweight and have 90 points of engagement for providing quick power to our wheels on technical climbs. A RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock and Pike Ultimate fork give us top-tier suspension performance and allow us to smash confidently through rough terrain. To top this build off, premium Maxxis tires give us the confidence and grip we need when we are riding hard.
