The most comfortable pair I own
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

Pearl Izumi as a brand makes excellent riding shorts. Everytime I try a different brand, they just don't fit right or feel as well made. Out of all the ones I've tried, these fit and feel the best. I honestly have and will continue to recommend these to anyone looking for a good comfortable pair, that fit right, and offer the padding needed.

I bought Attack shorts in 2019. Great product - 6 panel shorts and very comfortable. I wanted another pair. Unfortunately the 2021 Attack shorts are 4 panel and of lower quality and comfort. they changed the seat pad also. Might as well purchase the Quest Shorts. I am returning this product.

Pearl Izumi Attack Short
- Familiarity:

These are very disappointing, especially from a company like Pearl Izumi. The seams for the padding are rough, and the padding is poor - feels like foam rubber. These are very different than the more expensive shorts they sell, and I see why. Uncomfortable shorts are not worth anything, since you wouldn't want to wear them at all.

Very disappointed

Pearl Izumi should be ashamed to sell these shorts at this price. They are much inferior to the previous style of Attack shorts. These 4-panel shorts are way less comfortable - no matter what the material. They just don't fit well. The pad is not comfortable at all. The leg openings also are not comfortable. I wish I could return them. A very poor product from Pearl Izumi. Don't buy these shorts!!!

got these a couple weeks ago and have put about 250 miles on them. great fit and comfort. 130 of these miles were on the salt to saint relay where 4 of us rode 427 miles. did not get any hot spots and even on my last mile they still provided good comfort. will buy again!!

PI must be cutting costs as this is the same lining/chamois as the cheaper models. No 3D padding - will be returning ASAP.
