Blur Trail CC X0 Eagle Transmission Reserve Mountain Bike

When we are fixing to put in the miles but need a bike that is a little more capable for rougher terrain, the Santa Cruz Blur Trail CC X0 Eagle Transmission Reserve mountain bike is our go-to. Cross-country race bike at heart, but Frankensteined with 15 millimeters of more travel in the rear and 20 on the fork, the Blur Trail blurs the lines between a cross-country bike and a trail bike. With a chassis nearly as light as the cross-country Blur but way more capable, the Blur trail is a prime choice for when you still want to be able to fly but  are riding on more aggressive terrain. With a 67.1-degree head tube angle, we are in a much better position to point the wheels downhill and over chunky terrain than any other XC bike. Size-specific chainstays and seat tube angles position every rider, regardless of stature or frame size, in the perfect position for an efficient and centered pedaling position and provides a perfectly balanced, agile ride. The Blur utilizes Santa Cruz's new Superlight suspension platform, reducing overall weight and making for a more energy-efficient design over their previous VPP suspension platform. Integrated downtube and chainstay protectors keep our bike safe from chain slap and rock strikes, and internal cable routing makes for a clean-looking bike.

The XO AXS Reserve build of the Santa Cruz Blur Trail is equipped with top-quality components as well as Santa Cruz's premium Carbon CC frame. SRAM's XO Eagle AXS Transmission Drivetrain offers a robust electronic drivetrain that offers precise shifting, even under load, and an automatic clutch mechanism that ensures our derailleur is in a perfect position every time. A Fox Factory 34 Step-Cast fork helps to save weight and is super adjustable, allowing us to get our ideal setting for our riding style. Reserve carbon XC 28 rims and industry Nine 1/1 hubs pair together to make a world cup-worthy wheelset that will turn heads as we pass by. A Fox Factory Transfer SL dropper post is lightweight and has super smooth actuation, making for effortless changes in saddle height. Maxxis Rekon Race tires are fast-rolling and lightweight without sacrificing the grip we need. Finally, the new SRAM Level Silver Stealth brakes supply all the stopping power we need without the added weight
