Why We Like The Santa Cruz Bullit Carbon CC MX GX Eagle AXS e-Bike
With the attitude of a freeride brawler and 170mm of VPP travel, the Santa Cruz Bullit is an aggressive e-MTB ready to send it down steep, gnarly lines. The ultralight, ultrastrong Carbon CC frame is paired with the powerful Shimano EP-8 motor and high capacity 630Wh battery, allowing us to head out on all-day adventures in search of aggressive lines we've only seen in our dreams. The modern geometry features a slacked-out 64-degree headtube angle for impressive stability at speed and a steep 77.1-degree seat tube angle for comfortable, high-efficiency pedaling. Plus, the Bullit is purpose-built around a mixed-wheel setup, giving us the rollover ability of a 29er up front and the playful agility of a 27.5in wheel out back.
The Bullit Carbon CC MX GX Eagle AXS kit is smartly spec'd with components built to hold up to the rigors of big freeride and enduro lines. The reliable SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed electronic drivetrain handles all of the shifting duties with speed and precision, while a pair of SRAM Code RS brakes help us modulate our speed through high-speed, technical sections. The Fox Float Performance Elite 38 fork has plenty of torsional stiffness, so we can hold a line through the chunkiest of descents and gnarliest of rock gardens. Whether we're racing E-Enduro or engaging in some motor-assisted freeride, the Santa Cruz Bullit maximizes our time spent shredding by making our climb as efficient as possible.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
