Why We Like The Santa Cruz Stigmata CC Force AXS 2x Reserve Gravel Bike
Leave the paved roads behind with confidence while riding The Stigmata CC Force AXS 2x Gravel Bike from Santa Cruz. This carbon gravel grinder rides fast and smooth over rough terrain, making it the ideal ride for commuting, bikepacking trips, and everything in between. With a 70mm stem and a long reach built around it, we have a geometry closest to a mountain bike for optimal riding comfort, while the slack head tube angle creates a more stable ride. Large 700c tires keep our momentum going forward, rolling over obstacles on the trail, while the slack 69.5-degree head tube angle gives us tons of confidence when the trail gets steeper. A steep 74-degree seat tube angle allows us to rocket up technical climbs by seating us in an efficient position over the pedals. Short and nimble chainstays make the Stigmata super agile through tight singletrack, and the long top tube paired with a 70mm stem gives us more control and stability off-road. Extra features like three water bottle mounts, Santa Cruz's Glove Box in-frame storage, and low-profile fender mounts give us the ability to go further, take more gear, and transform the Stigmata into a bikepacking rig.
The CC Force AXS 2x Reserve build of the Santa Cruz Stigmata features Santa Cruz's best frame, top-tier electronic shifting, and all the quality components to take our riding to the next level. First up, Santa Cruz's premium Carbon CC frame gives us the lightest and strongest frame available, with this entire build weighing in at only 18.76 pounds! For flawless shifting, SRAM's 2x Force AXS groupset offers precise electronic shifting and a huge gear range, so we will always have the perfect gear for the terrain. Taking this build a notch higher, Reserve 25 GR 700c carbon fiber rims give us a lightweight wheelset that dampens trail vibrations, are super stiff, and are paired with DT Swiss 350 hubs for a fast-engaging and reliable wheelset. Lastly, Maxxis rambler 45mm-wide tires give us tons of traction on the loose dirt while keeping the weight to a minimum.
