Why We Like Specialized Riprock 24in
When our kids outgrow their beginner bikes, we need something that they can grow their skills with even more. The Specialized Riprock 24in kids' bike is the step up they have been hoping for and features aggressive geometry and a quality component spec so their skills can continue to evolve. The Specialized Riprock 24 sports a premium butted alloy frame, internal cable routing, is dropper post-compatible, has hydraulic disc brakes, and a quality 1x drivetrain. Not only do the structure and components meet the standards of advanced riding, but so does the geometry, giving us an aggressive 67-degree head tube angle so they will feel more confident as they ride downhill. A near 1000mm wheelbase ensures stability and composure as they head down steeper and more aggressive terrain, while the short 390mm chainstays provide our little ripper will have no problem at all whipping their bike around when it is time to get agile. A 73.5-degree seat tube angle, so they are always in a good position to put power to the pedals when climbing.
The Specialized Riprock has quality components, so our little riders can keep evolving their skills. First up, a microSHIFT Advent 9-speed drivetrain ensures a simple-to-use and reliable shifting experience that gives us a huge gear range. Hydraulic disc brakes take this kids' bike to the next level, equipping us with C-STAR Hydraulic Disc Brake brakes and 160mm rotors so they can have confidence as they head downhill. Lastly, Specialized Ground Control Sport, 2.35in-wide tires throw down tons of grip and traction in all terrain conditions.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
