Why We Like The Yeti SB135 T1 XT Mountain Bike
The new Yeti SB135 is ready to show us how much fun we can have with less. All new to Yeti's lineup, the SB135 is built around 27.5-inch wheels to give us an extremely agile machine for popping off every side hit in sight and sending the line less traveled. The TURQ series carbon frame construction strikes the perfect balance between stiffness and compliance for an insanely responsive ride so we can flick, drift, and pump our way through any trail. The 135mm of Fox Factory-supported Switch Infinity rear travel gives us a supportive pedaling platform to climb efficiently while feeling seemingly bottomless as we smash through high-speed technical chutes. A properly slack 65.4-degree headtube angle ensures the right amount of stability at speed without sacrificing the agility that we love from 27.5-inch wheels, and size-specific chainstay lengths and seat tube angles ensure that every rider gets the same experience, no matter what size we choose.
The Yeti SB135 T1 XT kit is spec'd for speed, durability, and reliability. Shimano's 12-speed XT drivetrain handles the shifting duties with precise and smooth shifting along with a wide range of gears so that we can keep the wheels turning on even the steepest climbs. A pair of 4-piston XT brakes with 180mm rotors deliver plenty of braking power for navigating technical descents, and a set of durable DT Swiss XM1700 wheels keep us rolling worry-free. A 150mm Fox Factory 36 fork is paired with a Factory Float shock out back to help support that seemingly bottomless suspension feel, and to top it all off, every size gets a long Fox Transfer dropper post to get our saddle completely out of the way for snag-free descending. The Yeti SB135 T1 XT Mountain Bike is a mid-travel trail bike that is eager for us to push the limits with less.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
