More than just an overforked SB140, the SB140 Lunch Ride is begging us to lay off the brakes and get a little rowdy. Built from durable C/Series carbon, which was recently reworked to provide a better balance of torsional stability and flexibility, this bike is ready to accompany us on epic trail adventures, all-day missions in search of big rock slabs, and even our daily lunch loop. 140mm of Fox Factory-supported Switch Infinity rear travel soaks up braking bumps and provides unreal traction in both directions while feeling seemingly endless when we hit that big drop we’ve been scoping out. Yeti’s engineers developed the geometry around 29-inch wheels and size-specific features, such as chainstays and seat tube angles, to create an extremely agile ride feel that is consistent across the entire size range. A slack 65-degree headtube angle is paired to a 160mm travel fork for razor-sharp handling that is ready to carry us through big drops that we previously thought were only possible on a DH bike.

The smartly spec’d SB140 Lunch Ride C3 GX Eagle AXS Factory build prioritizes performance no matter what sort of trail conditions we encounter on our ride. The SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed electronic drivetrain shifts cleanly every time, even when we find ourselves coming up on a surprise uphill and making a last-minute gear change. A Fox Factory 36 fork boasts 160mm of travel to carry us through even the most gnarly descents and it features a GRIP2 damper with virtually endless adjustment options so we can dial in our suspension to suit our riding style perfectly. The Crank Brothers Enduro Synthesis wheels are independently tuned for maximum grip up front and high-speed stability in the rear, meaning we can stick our line no matter how fast and loose we get that day. No proper trail bike is complete without a dropper post, so Yeti spec’d a long OneUp dropper on every size in the range so we can forget about snagging our shorts on our saddle when we’re navigating gnarly sections of trail.
